Members of the public may address the Board as outlined in the Hearing Section of the agenda. All meetings are recorded and a member of the public may be held liable for any slanderous or otherwise defamatory statements. Please turn off/silence your cell phones while in the Board Room.

a. The Board has adopted Board Policy 9323(b) to ensure the public’s right to be heard in any matters pertaining to the San Marino Unified School District. We respectfully request that if you would like to address the Board of Education about any matter, you complete a “REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD” card and submit it to the Superintendent prior to the start of the meeting or to the Assistant to the Superintendent during the meeting. The President of the Board will invite speakers to the podium to address the Board during discussion of the relevant agenda item. Comments concerning matters not on the agenda may be heard at this time, but not responded to by the Board of Education. Five minutes may be allotted to each speaker and a maximum of 20 minutes to each subject matter.

As a result of financial uncertainties, negotiations, legislation and other factors, the Governing Board of this District hereby declares that all management, classified, confidential, including Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent(s), and other unrepresented employee salaries are declared indefinite for 2010-2011.
